Comments: Corporal Barry was a member of Company H, 2nd Battalion, 5th Infantry Regimental Combat Team, which was attached to the 24th Infantry Division. He was taken Prisoner of War while fighting the enemy near Ukkolgye, North Korea on April 23, 1951 and died while a prisoner on September 16, 1951. His remains were not recovered.
