During our stays at the rock crusher, my squad was positioned at this location, within yards of the mountain's base. A special forces communication installation was on the mountain's crest. We controlled the bottom, and the enemy held the rest. We sometimes saw NVA or VC soldiers sitting near the large white rock at the top left.
