359 viewsThe day before this picture was taken B Company drove the tracks all night from Tay Ninh to Siagon. The company made camp outside the wire at the end of the airport. The next day the company went into the city and made contact that afternoon. The Lt. ?, Robert Mills and myself went up a couple of blocks to see and we got ambushed. The Lt. got hit pretty bad and Robert lost his left foot and had two bullet holes in his right foot.

Joe Guerra340 viewsOn August 19th, B Company was in a Firefight that afternoon with a large number of NVA. Just before dark we got to the road to Dau Tieng. We got Ambushed and couldn't go anywhere. By the time the 3/4 Cav got to us it was dark. We started down the road and were getting small arms fire and RPG fire. I got wounded when a RPG hit me up on the 5o Caliber. It left a hole where it went throung only inches from me.
