 359 viewsThe day before this picture was taken B Company drove the tracks all night from Tay Ninh to Siagon. The company made camp outside the wire at the end of the airport. The next day the company went into the city and made contact that afternoon. The Lt. ?, Robert Mills and myself went up a couple of blocks to see and we got ambushed. The Lt. got hit pretty bad and Robert lost his left foot and had two bullet holes in his right foot.

 284 viewsWe were pinned down in a cemetery, the medic and guys couldn't get to us due to small arms fire. After burning some houses, Flanagan, squad leader, and six other guys, including the medic were able to get us out. Both the Lt. and Robert made it.
